As I stepped out of the car that took me to Shimla, the cool breeze of the mountains welcomed me. It was my first time visiting Shimla, and I was excited to spend the next few days exploring the beautiful hill station. I had booked an Airbnb that promised breathtaking views of the mountains and was eager to see it for myself.
Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is a beautiful hill station that is popular among tourists for its pleasant climate, scenic beauty, and rich cultural heritage.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Shimla for the first time and I decided to stay at an Airbnb that had caught my eye online due to its stunning pictures. The Airbnb was nestled amidst the lush green hills and provided a picturesque view of the valley below. I spent the next few hours relaxing in the comfortable bed, taking in the views from the balcony and sipping on hot tea.

Here's a quick video of the Airbnb I stayed in.
As the evening approached, I decided to head to the famous Mall Road in Shimla. It is one of the busiest and most popular areas in the town, lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. The road is closed to vehicles, making it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll.
The vibrant energy and lively atmosphere were infectious, and I couldn't wait to explore the area.
The journey to the Mall Road was a bit of a challenge as it involved navigating through the steep slopes and narrow lanes of Shimla. However, the stunning views along the way made it all worth it. As I reached the Mall Road, I was amazed by the hustle-bustle of the place. The colorful shops, street food aroma, and street performers' sound made it a sensory delight.
One of the first things I noticed on Mall Road was the Christ Church. Built in 1857, it is one of the oldest churches in North India and is known for its stunning stained glass windows. I spent some time admiring the architecture and the tranquil surroundings.
As I continued my walk, I came across a variety of shops selling everything from handmade jewelry to traditional clothes. The narrow lanes and colorful buildings added to the charm of the place. I also tried some local street food, including the famous Himachali momos and thukpa, which were delicious.
As the night fell, the street performers came to life, adding to the festive atmosphere. There were musicians playing traditional instruments, dancers performing folk dances, and even magicians entertaining the crowd.
As I headed back to my Airbnb, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the beautiful day I had spent in Shimla. The stunning views, the delicious food, and the lively Mall Road had made it a memorable experience. I couldn't wait to see what the rest of my trip had in store for me.
